2. What are your business hours?
Our laboratory is open from 8:00am to 7:00pm to accommodate as many subjects as possible, including those that work full and part time.
3. How many test subjects do you have and how do you keep track of them?
We maintain a customized Microsoft SQL database containing over 25,000 subjects, each having completed a comprehensive medical history and product usage survey. Our customized database can search for over 30 different study-related variables, which include age, race, sex, skin type, product usage practices, and preferences.
4. How do you recruit for special studies?
Our laboratory is situated near Rutgers University, a densely populated and ethnically diverse area of central NJ. Our database includes members of the general population as well as subsets of subjects with various dermatologic or other medical conditions that may be appropriate for participation in "special" studies. In addition, specialized study populations can be recruited using a variety of advertising options.
5. How can you be sure that your panelists comply with the study directions?
Many of our panelists have experience participating in studies. In addition, we use a variety of accepted techniques to insure compliance:
Product applications by a clinician and/or supervised product applications by subjects
These two methods have been proven to guarantee product usage compliance.
Product weight checks
Daily usage diaries
Direct study progress updates (phone calls)
6. Who do I contact if I would like to be a subject in one of your upcoming studies?
